A BIT ABOUT RAMBLING ROSE

I bought my first proper bunch of flowers in Notting Hill about 25 years ago...it blew me away so I asked for a job pretty much there and then as the junior florist…

 

In the years that followed I was lucky enough to work for two incredibly talented people, working with beautiful flowers on the most spectacular weddings and events in England and abroad.

 

 Although London had been my home for many years, eventually in 2014 I felt a need to get back to the countryside. I headed to Dorset and moved to a beautiful country cottage adorned with rambling roses!  Armed with flower scissors on every dog walk I collected beautiful foliages and berries from the hedgerows, and I realised that I wanted my flowers to represent the wealth of plentiful ingredients around me, to include locally grown and foraged materials.

 

In 2018 Rambling Rose bloomed from my barn at home to my little flower shop in the bustling Dorset market town of Beaminster.  The shop is filled daily with fresh flowers and foliage, locally sourced wherever possible, ready to buy by the stem, handful or bunch, we can deliver locally.

We love weddings, suppers and parties, and of course are honoured to provide flowers for sadder occasions too. We are more than happy to chat through ideas on the phone or in the shop so do get in touch.
